It is very like my Rosa mundi which is perhaps more winey red. I like it.

Rosie I have forgotten the name of your gorgeous rose. It is a climber which I think you might have got from Style. I should write down the names of these ones that I like.

I have three stripey roses - one is a floribunda - 'Tawny Tiger' The other two are climbers. 'Calypso' and 'Twist'. Sorry about the last photo. So - yes, I like yours too! ;D

I was looking through other stripey rose pictures, and remembered one I've wondered about - it's from Cants and it's called 'Crazy for You'. I like it...but where would it 'fit' in my garden? I do have colour themed beds, though - just to make things difficult! Maybe I should lose a bit more lawn and make a 'stripey flower' bed. ;D ;D

That would look good near spring shrubs which look a little dull in June and July when this rose would be in flower. I wish I could think of these things for my own garden, but in actual fact, the Rosa mundi is around the Viburnums and Deutzia, (which is an accident of course) so it is doing a good job. It is quite short.
