Just trying to find some time to post in between visits etc, and working in garden or allotment frees the mind.... Starting to look a bit better, but dr asked him to think about what to do if his heart stops again...... But this is a gardening forum, enough about it i think. Just hoping for the best.

It may be a gardening forum, but being gardeners, we care about each other. Hope your father recovers well Edwin.

Hello everybody, just a short sign of life from the other side off the pond.. Things aint easy but life goes on, so does the work in my gardens. Luckely my own health is starting to improve, joints start to work again Last week i planted my dahlia tubers in the allotments. Also cuttings at home are doing good and from most varieties i got enough plants to keep to my original planning. Been seeding first annuals and put a nice collection of gladiolus in the small allotment. First liliums are popping up now the sun starts to shine here, the collection even got bigger when a friend send me his remaining stock he couldnt sell on his homepage. www.tuinplanteninfo.nl in dutch but with very good pictures from all plants he had been growing last few years. Will try to make bigger update in near future, in mean time i just try to hop in when i can. Trying to keep up with the news..... Tommorow again busy day with lots of seeds waiting to become nice plants ;D ;D

Have you looked at the Bulgarian carrot lately Moonlight? mine are now growing they seem later to germinate than the others Steve I had all mine in rows in one of my prop mini trays and when the others grew I pricked them out and potted them up. I thought that the Bulgarian carrot wasn't going to grow and gave up. Feel like a murder now. Are yours heated or just greenhouse / room temperature?

My Bulgarian Carrot is fine. I rely on this one very much because I have sussed the amount of heat in the taste and how many I need in my cooking.
