Other than look out the windows and pick a a few Tomatoes nothing raining and another thunderstorm has just started.
Edit The storm just did not happen I managed to get out and trim the tomatoes more and this exposed about 20+ tomatoes which I will pick tomorrow.
I am not sure if I have mentioned this our home is 2mt below the street level and water mains. That means all our rain water runs into pits and slowly seeps into the lower ground level.

The various tits - coal, great, blue - were looking in the nest boxes yesterday morning & the robin was pottering around the log store all looking for nesting sites so I moved the robin box from the side of the house where it kept getting blown around to the side of the garage & put up a new nest box suitable for great tits on the shed to give them a bit of a choice. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) The garden is still a bog so the only other things I did were feeding the birds & checking on the pond, 2 frogs in there & more frogspawn.

No gardening actually just a big sweeping of all the tree leaves on the driveway. All in the big bin ready to spread for mulch and the birds to scratch onto the driveway again.
Picked about 50+ tomatoes.

my new plug plants arrived, very pleased with the size and condition of them, I've just stood them out in trays, tomorrow I will pot them on when I get some compost, need to put perennials outside, but it's just too wet at the moment ![](https://i.ibb.co/b6VkdgC/20200220-081156.jpg) ![](https://i.ibb.co/tPSX4ST/20200220-081143.jpg) ![](https://i.ibb.co/JsB3cYM/20200220-081134.jpg) What variety of dahlia did you sow Grindle and are they on heat? I've just sown Figaro mix and Bishops children Dahlias from seed, they usually do very well. Your perennials and plugs look really good.

not sure ladybird will have to look at the label later, they are in a heated propagator. Really pleased with the plugs, they were from a new place I tried, going to pot them today

not actually in the garden but up at our club shed having a good clear up before it opens at the beginning of the month, amazing how much rubbish was there, and the mice/rats had made good use of things too ![](https://www.free-smileys.com/files/bouncy-smileys/954.gif)

![::2378::](https://www.free-smileys.com/files/people-smileys/2378.gif) that was funny jellibeans Potted up all the plug plants, then did some real gardening, digging and altering a little border at the top of the garden, replaced all the rotten log roll, started adding a load of compost, still lots to do before I plant up, but of course, it's going to rain again tonight ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

I managed to give the lawn it's first high cut of the year after the wind dried it out sufficiently this morning. Not expecting to get much done tomorrow though with more rain tonight.

I pruned the tomatoes allowing more light and air through plus picked 50+. I gave them a good liquid feeding as well. Later in the day I watered the Dahlia's plus all the small flowering plants on the nature strip (Area of land up to the road)

I have to cut the top part of the main stems of two Clematis because the wind has broken them. C. ‘Princess Diana’ has huge buds which would have turned into stems, while C. ‘Blue Angel’ is well advanced too. Gardens always bring heartbreak as well as joy. That sounds dramatic, because it could be worse.
