No, he was a stray that used to hang around and we used to chase him away but eventually decided to take him in.
This was about 10-12 years ago.
The guy a few doors down the road worked at a vets and he has one of the kittens Chaz sired. Looks just like him too. Anyway he had been sort of looking after him as well as some other cats so we got told some of his history and originally whoever it was that dumped him had called him Tawny but my daughter decided on his new name.

I'll get around to it eventually
