While preparing the ground the other day I dug out a dozen strawberry plants. i am going to pot them up individually and place in the cold cold g'house. (the one with lots of glass missing) Seems a shame to throw them out after just one season. If they survive I might get some early strawberries without slug or bird damage unlike last year. Anyway no harm in trying.
I think those plants are unable to grow in all conditions and seasons, they needs some special type of environment. So it's better to know the full details about the planting of strawberries.
