am starting to get narked now tubers have been in the greenhouse since the last week of feb temeture is always above 60 i spray the tubers when they look like they are dry and still more than half have not shown any sign of life will they still come the tubers are all hard not mushy

I would give them until the end of the month, then cut my loses has far as cuttings. Rather than dump them, you could plant the tubers at the beginning of May. I am one of those, they do or they don't, gardeners. ;D

With no heat around their bums they will struggle to start unless the weather is warm which we all know it hasn't. My experience tells me the biggest field tubers are not always best, pot or medium sized tubers are best. Are they rooted ? if not bin them. Or you could pour very hot 'not boiling water'over them to soften them up.
