Took my usual stroll down to the 'Wild' part of the garden this morning and it was buzzing. The hogweed is in flower and was attracting loads of bees. The butterflies were doing their mating dance and the pond was alive with small beasties doing their thing. It was very peaceful there in the sunlight coming through the trees and to top it all I was getting serenaded by our resident blackbird. You could quite easily forget all the troubles in the world but I had to come back to reality all too soon. not sure what the butterflies were but they were the small brown ones. Will look it up later.

That's really nice to hear sweetpea , I was doing something simliar last night watching the 2 bats zooming round the garden after all the moths with the scent of the pink mini roses in the air & what I think was a baby blackbird chirping & dreaming as it went to sleep in the conifer tree. If only we could get rid of all the noisy people who spoil the peace & quiet!
