for the people that dont know me, my dads terminally ill and sadly now in a nursing home, but dad has 2 big parrots still in his home. 50 miles from where i live. dad may be ill but his mind is still sharp, dad will not let the parrots go, which makes me going home hard as i carnt leave the blinking things for long, food and water for them. both these parrots are mad as they have not come out of there cages for 10 years, they are nasty and bite, my dad will sell them, but i will never get a buyer, because they bite and blinking big beeks. anyway i could give them to a parrot home sanctuary but if my dad ever came home for a day or got wind of it i would be toast and dissinherated. any advise, any would be gladly received......./ jean

Would the Parrot Sanctuary take them in on the basis that if your Dad did ever return to his home he could have them back? Perhaps if you offered to pay for their keep? Your Dad would know they were being looked after and you would not have the responsibility.
