This photo is about 5 years old or more, and I'm afraid the plant is long dead However I'd like to know what it was. It was given to me as a teenager by an old chap in the village who knew I'd started taking an interest in gardening, but he never gave it a name. I always loved the subtle colour and shape and would like to get another one. It was pretty tough and used to do OK in our unheated greenhouse during the winter. I can't remember what killed it... quite possibly my dog! This is the other plant; I should totally know what this is but I can't remember or find the label :/ Someone remind me please?

Thank you Hywel I've wondered about that plant for ages. Now I just have to track Perle Von Nurnberg down, how aristocratic sounding. Aha, Sedum. I had a feeling the second plant began with an 'S.' I stuffed it in there in a hurry last autumn, half dead, and had no idea it'd grow back that big.
