I received an interesting shrub as a gift last year called Ribes laurifolium. It's flower buds are starting to swell so I'll be hopefully posting a couple of pics of it when in full flower quite soon.

I just looked it up. The flowers look pretty, but I could not see the leaves too well.
I thought you were going to be Fractal on here, not that it matters. We always know the difference.

The leaves are leathery and quite unlike what you normally associate with the genus. I'll get a few leaf shots in when it flowers.
Just thought I would go back to my old name on the other site as most know me by that.

It also has several new growth shoots at various points too so should bulk itself out nicely.
