I have grown trailing carnations also Star of bethlehem in baskets which hasnt flowered Why ??
I have grown lillies in tubs only 5 out of 15 came up but they are beautiful
I know its to late for them to flower now so what shall I do

Are you saying that no leaves appeared at all, joysie21? If so, they might have fallen victim to vine weevil. I'd empty one of the containers onto a sheet of polythene and check if the bulbs had grown any roots, and if you can see any of the wretched things. If so, get some vine weevil killer and drench all your containers that have lilies in.

Thank you for the advice I think they are going to flower at last as I see some buds but I will look to see why the others never came up The hanging geranium is looking healthy in the baskets but hope they will flower eventually I will repot the begonia which isnt growing very well
