All of mine are in the cold frame now. Will be growing 150 for exhibition, all seedlings, and 16, again seedlings, for garden display as 2 produced unusual colours but not really up to exhibition standard. Also finished my new patch for growing them down the allotment today. Ordered 3 ton of top soil online and it took me 4 hours to fill the beds. Also completed the framework, so it's now up to nature.

Just finished the sweet pea beds, all dug and ready for next year. Getting restless for Nov 1st when it starts all over again More than I have done 'scrumpy. Area has been cleared and waiting for some stable manure which someone has said they will obtain for me. as long as the ground preparation is completed by around Christmas time it will be fine. I have a frame ready at the back garden but that means traipsing back and forward through the house which M. isn't too keen on. At least the pots will be standing on stone so no rooting into the ground as so often happens.
