Hello I wondered if anyone uses mini plastic greenhouses? If so, how often do you replace them? I have a 5-tier greenhouse which just about does what I need for my teeny patio garden, but the plastic cover has to be replaced ridiculously often I can only duct-tape them so much. I'm trying to come up with a not-too-expensive idea to replace it or stop the plastic falling to bits every 5mins. I find the 're-inforced' covers aren't much good, they last a few months longer but let very little light in and my plants don't like it. A solid lean-to greenhouse with plastic sheeting might be a long-term-investment option if I could find one the right size - but I can either find them too small or too big. Does anyone know anywhere that does a range different sized mini-greenhouses? I can't use glass as it will quite probably get broken (people chuck all sorts of stuff over our fence mid-town!) and ideally I need to be able to move my greenhouse if poss.

Try Norfolk Greenhouses Bess. I bought my daughter a tomato house for her seedlings and it lasted great. She finally upgraded to a proper greenhouse

I had a large 12 x 6 Norfolk greenhouse for 5 years, rigid clear panels around the sides and a translucent roof, I loved it. The sliding door can be a bit of a pain to open and close though a bit of candle was on the runners helped and there are no windows which is a problem, I had to make one. Once up they are the devil to take apart without breaking . Of course thats only the actual greenhouses , they have other stuff , see the garden news magazine they advertise there

I brought one from B & Q about £200 the size was 6f x 4foot I have had it for 2 years it has clear windows 1 opening one and a sliding door. It is just great but the price is a bit high. Before I had a walk in £60 plastic covered mini GH, lasted 1 year then rotted away. You could try making one from Polly carbonate.
Rosie, I think the one you have shown looks very good, it could be a add on for my greenhouse.

Thanks for the suggestions, i'm still looking around, Norfolk Greenhouses has a great range actually. They're really bargain-atious. I'd love one of the little lean-to greenhouses, but I've a nasty feeling I'd get in trouble for something that big on our shared patio area. I will look into it though, cos if you don't ask...
