My Grandchildren have a new favourite meal - it is easy to make, too Sauce 1 small onion - chopped 1 clove of garlic - chopped 1 tablespoon mild curry powder 1/2 tablespoon turmeric 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup 1 teaspoon soy sauce 2 grated eating apples salt and pepper 1 teaspoon cornflour in 1 tablespoon water - to thicken sauce if necessary. 200 ml water 200 ml chicken stock 4 chicken breasts 2 beaten eggs seasoned flour 1 box Panko breadcrumbs oil for frying Make sauce by gently frying the onion and garlic ,stir in the termuric and curry powderand cook for a few seconds . Add all other ingredients and then cook for about 20 minutes. When cooked zuzz it with a blender and then season and thicken it if needed Flatten the chicken breasts in a plastic bag with a rolling pin and then coat in the beaten egg, then flour, then breadcrumbs Fry them in oil for a few minutes each side until cooked through. Serve with boiled rice and a green vegetable - peas, beans or broccoli. I have cut the amount of turmeric to 1 teaspoon now - 1/2 a tablespoon was too much

I would say it isn't what I would call a grown up curry but the children love it - and so do I

It looks ideal for children or a family. They would think they are very grown up.
