Noticed my first daffodil in bloom on the 6th january. No sign of any snowdrops yet. The poor old daff is getting a hammering from the wind and rain. That'll teach it to be precocious.

Mine are just poking their noses through sweetpea. Did it survive the bad weather?

Don't recall the variety. Think it was from a pack I got at Wilkos and yes it has survived though rather bowed down.

I'd planted a load of early flowering bulbs a few months back in readiness for Snowdrop's home-coming (6-months out of area!) ... they are up but haven't yet made it to flowering stage.

Here is a pic of the little daff. It took quite a battering from the rain and hail today but holding its own so far.

I planted loads of daffodils in my local woods last year, I will have to take the dog that way tomorrow. Only problem will be, can not remember what part I put them all.
