First butterfly of the year in the garden today as well, a small tortoiseshell on the cyclamen in the windowbox, lovely fresh looking one enjoying the sun!

The butterflies & bees are taking their time appearing here peony , I don't think they're fooled by the rare spells of sun we've had!

No sign of any here either. Quite a few midges down by the pond and a housefly indoors today.

Saw two butterflies today. Not sure what they were but small brown ones.

The small tortoiseshell is still the only one I've seen so far sweetpea plus 2 bumblebees & a few flies.

We've had two peacock butterflies around in the last two days. No photo - I didn't have my camera with me.

Yay! Saw my first bumblebee today. i did have my camera with me but it buzzed off so I just took some pics of the hellebores it was visiting.
