Keeping each other company through the winter
I found these on a trellis in my garden yesterday. We don't see many ladybirds here these days, so I left them alone ...

That's very sweet @hywel , I would have left them alone as well, the snail is one of the very pretty ones too, I don't like killing them, if they're eating anything I tend to just 'relocate' them to a bag in the bin or the 'green' recycling bin if there's anything in it for them to munch on!

I can't kill snails either, SueA. Slugs now - they're a whole lot easier to murder! Very shallow I know but snails just look too nice, and since I found out my Mum's side of the family call them 'oddle doddles'(awww!)I just can't kill them even if I catch them at the crime scene Nice photo Hywel I haven't seen such a stripey snail as that in ages.
