I had 2 nice Pennisetum Rubrum grasses last year and they were beautiful with their long plumes have kept frost free in potting shed and have given them a haircut can anyone tell me when i should see fresh growth thanks in advance

I guess it depends on where you stay endeavour...in the south you should see some growth very soon, up here in the frozen north it could be another month to 6 weeks yet

kept them just damp i am in edinburgh we have had no frosts and they are in potting shed with plenty light just wondered because they would be big plants this year if they are ok.

Well my pampas grass hasn't shown any sign of new growth and I'm in west wales with a mild climate so I suppose there is plenty time yet for your grass to show growth. used to work in Leith Walk years ago so fairly familiar with Auld Reekie.

My Miscanthus is not showing signs of growth yet.
My daughter still shares a Georgian flat in New Town, although she lives in North Queensland now.
