Had a phone call from Garden Answers today trying to get me back in the fold also GN. The carrot was three mags sent for £1.00 with the option of whether to continue at a reduced rate compared with the normal price. i accepted the three for a pound but said no to the GN When asked why I cancelled I told them it was cost as I can't really afford all these mags and I'm not generally learning anything new from them. This is the second time I have been contacted. Anyone else had the same?

I had a call a month or so ago too sweetpea , a lot of magazines seem to be doing it offering either 3 mags for £3 or £1 but I've not taken any of them up as I don't seem to end up reading them all. You have to remember to cancel your direct debit as well after the special offer or you get charged the higher price the next month but it's worth just taking up the offer if you do just take the 3.

I have been thinking of cancelling my GN subscription , like you say sweetpea everything seems a repeat of old stuff .It only costs me £1 a week. I do like the free seeds though I have been buying Kitchen garden mag recently which I have enjoyed

I get the calls too sweetpea, I tell the GA folks i wouldn't subscribe as a protest at the way they treated us on the old forum, that usually shuts them up I think GW is one of the better magazines
