Hello I am very new to gardening, after seeing a friends garden on Facebook I want to make my garden as nice as I can. i live in a bungalow that we are having a loft conversion at the moment, so the garden is wide with a concreate fence that I would like to cover with lovely flowers and plants that are easy for a beginner.

Welcome to the forum, Valerie rose. Clematis are great plants for growing and covering fences.

Welcome to the forum valerierose. A concrete fence would need to be planted as you said and it will be a great microclimate to shelter plants in pots if the garden has not been dug yet.
