In fact you could say they were a 60's group, in 68 they had a hippy-ish album called 'My people were fair and wore flowers in their hair' before he started plugging his guitar in

Andrew, I was a screaming T.Rex fan too, then punk, then the ever wonderful REM came into my life. I have seen T.Rex live 5 times, REM 7 times I can remember when T Rex were Tyranasaurusrex with the single "Deborah". In fact, I still have my copy. and I remember when Marc Bolan wrote himself off not far from where I used to live. Probably still gets loads of flowers on the anniversary. I know they did back then as I drove along that road almost every day.

Yes I think I got the album title above slightly wrong they were around a while, they said early influences were Gene Vincent and Eddy Cochran!

Its almost right, My people were fair and had the sky in their hair but now they're content to wear stars on their brows It was Gloria Jones who was driving the Mini when they crashed, she hot footed it back to the states after the crash cos she thought she would be arrested in connection with it.

he was still the one who ended up no longer alive. Didn't Tyrranosaurus Rex used to be called, 'An Underground' group prior to becoming more mainstream?

THE music question always seems to be:- The Beatles or The Rolling Stones. My opinion is The Beatles.
