Hi hippyemma, some of the pictures posted have been removed as unsuitable for a gardening forum, you are welcome to keep participating in our gardening forum and hopefully you can contribute some gardening related posts/pictures but please refrain from posting modelling/fashion type pictures which could result in cancellation of your membership, you can always post a link to your pictures if anyone has requested one or use the PM facility? but we have had complaints on the photo's just appearing among these pages and so have taken most down
Kind Regards
Admin

Yes Emma this section is for non gardening items to be posted. I take it from the above post, you are annoyed that your photo's have been removed by Admin. If this had happened to any of my posts I would have been annoyed too. Not because they had been removed, the thing that would have annoyed me more is, the way Admin placed on here publicly the reason why they were removed. Had those been my posts and a member or members had objected to them, I would have expected Admin to private message me, giving me the opportunity to remove the posts myself, explaining why they wanted them removed. rather than going public, with the reason. Now if I had refused, to delete my posts, that would be another matter.

Well, for what my opinion is worth....I thought Emma's photos were pretty, non-offensive, and posted in the right place I've seen far worse in "Non-gardening chat" over the years ;)Come back Emma and carry on chatting with us....this forum needs some younger members x

Thanks for your views and backup Tel and Granny Goose x No problem Emma Anyway, I'm not much of a photographer, but here's one I took today This is my grandson, "Baby William" with his Mummy He's had a few health scares in his short life, and recently had a brain scan, but I'm happy to report he's fit and well at the moment...and very cute

I didn't have a problem with your pics either Emma, but at the same time I can sort of understand why some people may have complained. I'm sure nobody would object to you posting the occasional picture of yourself, but perhaps virtually every day (as it had become before your pics were removed) was a little too frequent for some people. This thread began as suggesting a garden photo competition too, and some of your more recent pics certainly didn't have a garden theme. That's just my opinion anyway.
They are adorable at that age Granny Goose. I'm glad to hear he's fit and well too, especially if you've all been through a tough time.

Thank you Andrew Yes he is adorable and very special to us. I hope there are no objections to me posting his photo in this thread, as it isn't garden related?

Of course not! We enjoy looking at family photos! I didn't object to Emma's photos, but there were rather a lot of them, that's true. Maybe just the odd one would be more acceptable to Admin? I think I'll post a 'happy Henry' photo.
