Will do some research.lol It is a butterfly daitheplant and can be seen all round the garden doing its mating dance definately unmothlike if that's a word . Also folds its wings upright and is on the wing during the daylight hours which only a few moths do. There are two quite similar species in the book but can't recall the names right now. Possibly Gategeeper and Meadow Brown but I will check on that later.

Double dutch or short term amnesia Speaking of which, when I was cleaning the filter mats from the pond filter yesterday I had to walk back and forth under a bird seed feeder hanging from a branch and each time I banged my head and got a shower of seeds down my neck and every time I did it I vowed to avoid it next time but it was only on the last trip that I actually remembered to miss it.

Why didn`t you take them all out together, then you would have only banged your head twice. because the filter mats are quite heavy when soaked and full of sludge. If you try more than one at a time there is a danger of the mat tearing due to its own weight. Okay?

Lost that years ago, not sure if it was in the jungle, the desert or the Arctic. Might have been when a Yankee pilot took me up in a Gloster Meteor and tried to make me use the bag On the other hand it might have been when I took the plunge and married an English woman just the quiet life now dai.

You are a true Brit then, sweetpea. A Scot, marrying an Englishwoman and living in Wales. Well done you.
