I will no doubt sow part of the packets in September and the remainder in March/April but in general what would be the best time to sow perennials? Some will be alpines destined for the new rockery area and some herbaceous for elsewhere in the garden. Of course the few half hardies such as the bedding dahlias will be done in spring. A list of seeds follows: Browallia Callistemon (bottle brush) Cyclamen Dianthus deltoides Dierama Gentian leontopodium (Edelweiss) Lewisia nepeta (catmint) Abies koreana (silver fir) saponaria ocymoides Armeria stachys lanata Acacia dealbata
i know some are actually shrubs some of which I have grown from seed before. Thanks

Thanks Rosie, saved to favourites, Brenda is the seed sower with flowers, not allowed to touch my dahlia seeds though.
