I remember holidaying in Ilfracombe about 15 years ago, It was a blazing hot day in August and a harbour-side restaraunt was pumping out carols and the staff were putting up decorations.

Have you ever noticed too that in the summer the 'Back to School' range of clothing and stationery is in the shops before they have actually broken up!

Visited Pets At Home this afternoon. They have Christmas stockings for dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters and all sorts, but NO Christmas stockings for turkeys. Why not? They have feelings also. Some things that could be in a stocking for Turkeys and other poultry. Tinfoil, to make lots of decorations, Paxo, so that, like we humans, they can stuff themselves silly. Finally, a bottle of Famous Grouse to top the holiday off.

I don`t think I could ever be a vegetarian. When I started working at the garden centre, one of the owners said he was a vegetarian. He didn`t like the fact that I pointed out he ate fish, so he WASN`T a vegetarian.
