Was taking pics of the strawberry bush at the statue garden this morning when I saw this fellow. Then I noticed there were 2 of the beauties.

Arbutus unedo attract butterflies. I have as many on mine as the Buddleia.

Red admirals must be having a good year daitheplant , we had a couple sunbathing on top of the fence this morning, didn't get a pic. but I got one later of a comma sunbathing on the lawn.

i have a lavender down the back of the garden...well old but it puts on a lovely show each year, the Butterflies and Bees all in their multiples adorn it happily together...just wonderful (sighs contentedly) lovely photos

The sun was out this morning & a small tortoiseshell butterfly was sunbathing on the chiminea & then feeding on the erysimum 'Bowles Mauve'.
