Absolutely awful - our Surgery has two receptionists who know everyone. They're sympathetic and will even 'slot' you in at short notice if they know the GP isn't too busy!

You're very lucky Geranium, we have to wait 2 weeks for a non-urgent appointment, and a day for an urgent one

We have to phone on the day for an appointment and are usually told they are fully booked and to phone tomorrow. Very bad idea i thinks.....

wel if the call centre picks up the phone then that will be an improvement on our Dr. 3 weeks wait for a non urgent case By the time you get to see her your either better or dead !!
