Well it started today for me. Seeds sown, 10 varieties for me, and 3 for my neighbour. Sowed them in 84 cell plug trays as I find it easier to then transplant to rootrainers which most will go into this year. For me, growing 8 seedlings, Millenium and Just Julia. For my neighbour Fields of Fire, Eclipse and a new one Helen Millar.

I've done the same today! 12 varieties 12 of each! Only had john innis seed compost so hopefully that's ok?

Sure to be good. I used Humax original, which I use for all seed sowing.

Quite a few germinated now. Some a bit behind. Will transplant to rootrainers this week and hopefully all will be done by next Sunday.

Most of mine are through including the seed you sent me scrumpy. All fully exposed to the weather now.

No signs of mine yet, maybe the seed was a bit old! Where's a good place to get seed, the seed I've sown where from Kings seeds.

Depends on the varieties you are after as to where you go. My 2 packets of seeds from Roger Parsons, Millenium and Just Julia all germinated. 3 packets of seeds from Eagle for my neighbour, not 100% germination for Eclipse and Helen Millar, one variety, Fields of Fire, only half of those germinated so far.
Yours, if you haven't got bottom heat, may still, come through. They take a bit longer.

All of mine are really drawn due to the poor light conditions with the scaffolding being up. the warm weather didn't help either. i suppose they will be ok in the end. case of having to be really. Very tall (c 4"0 and spindly looking) No, not my reflection in mirror If they fail to thrive I will just have to sow others in the New Year but I think (hope) they will be ok.

Mine are the same. Then again, they always are no matter what I do. They'll be fine.
