Hiya folks I'm having a slight difficulty with BB Code. This is in the "Pests and diseases" section, in the story about Rhubarb as a pesticide. I created a "notes" area at the end of the post, which is flagged as being a small font (8 pt). This looks fine in the preview mode, but doesn't work when actually posted. (the sentence is at normal size). the BB code is present, and appears OK, but... it isn't taking. (viewing using Firefox). Am I doing something wrong ? Warm regards RoofGardener

AHA.... I think I've found out why.
Presumably there is a piece of code in the forum that manages/parses each post we make, and handles "special effects" such as font colour and size. The problem is... it is producing a VERY old style of HTML; one that most modern browsers (inc. firefox and Internet Explorer) don't recognise.
So... if you type in "pumpkins", and ask for it to be in large text, it produces something like this:
<p font-size="7">pumpkins</p> What it SHOULD be producing is the more modern CSS statement...
<p style="font-size: 18px;">pumpkins</p> or similar.
Does the forum offer a software upgrade or patch to help with this ? It WOULD be nice - albeit hardly essential - to be able to use larger/smaller text to format posts.
