We have the first proper "eyes" peach delight ac Abby and Clearview Debby. Kenora sunset and Stillwater brilliant are in the bin. Was looking soft and turning completely black.
Upon slicing them open tubers rotten inside and full crown rot on both. Stillwater the rot had spread into the chicken legs and was advancing quickly.
On good news a bedding one I had that is a great colour made the smallest tuber but is showing life.

All sending out hair roots so things looking positive. All very exciting. That is after 8 days on heat and not to hot at 14degrees.
ordering a new heat mat. the one I have is far to large for where I can put it . Will order the root t one and the smaller grow light for under the desk . Hopefully better set up next year.

Hi Raymond, Pleased to see your tubers are doing well. I have had tubers of Winholme Diane on the heat mat for 42 days and still showing no signs of life. Are your tubers still in your bedroom? Last season I started off my tubers inside the house and had a better rate of success than this season. I am now beginning to question which is the better method. Yesterday I started off 2 tubers of Kenora Valentine inside the house to test my theory to see how long it takes for them to produce Shoots. Tubers on the heat mats that are starting to shoot are White Charlie 2, Dikara Superb and Willo's Surprise.
