Just for a giggle, I thought I'd set up a Competition Challenge... with a Prize ! The prize is a box of my 2015 vegetable crop. (only a small box... probably with some courgettes and runner beans and 'erbs and the like... like I said, its just a bit of a giggle) Either delivered to your doorstep, or a collection point of your nomination, or - if you prefer - to donate to my local church Harvest Festival. (St. Marks CoE church in Arnold. I'm an atheist, but the Vicar is an old friend of mine) I'd prefer the prize to go to one of the Garden Friends... but I can understand that you may regard that as breaching anonymity/privacy. ANYWAY..... To celebreate the fourth re-erection of my polytunnel greenhouse, I will be inviting the Morman Tabernacle Choir to visit the Roofgarden next weekend, and sing a song or two. But what song(s) should they sing to appropriately mark the event ? If you are not already aware of the grief I've had with my polytunnel greenhouse, visit my gardneing blog from THIS entry forwards. You'll get the idea. Specifically, there is THIS entry, with a couple of my own song suggestions as examples. On Friday, I'll gather all your nominations together, and think of some sort of 'voting' system to elect a winner ! No idea how this will work. Never done it before. Lets have a giggle ! Sooo..... post your song suggestion(s) below. (no limit to the no. songs per entry)
