Hi everyone, This looks a nice friendly forum, I have a small, mostly paved back garden with beds around the edges and too many pots!!! I particularly like growing violas and dianthus. Look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome to the forum gemini , my last garden was mostly in pots, I had hundreds, took us ages to bring everything over to our new house in the car & a hire van over a few weeks, I even carried some over on foot in carrier bags when my O.H. was at work! I've released some into the ground but still have lots in containers, you can move things around until you find the perfect place without having to dig them up. Did you watch the 'Garden Revival' programme the other week where Christine Walkden championed dianthus? It made me think again about them as I haven't got any now, she planted up a Belfast sink with alpine varieties & it looked great?
