I was very pleased to see 2 long tailed tits popping into the garden several times today to feed on the peanuts. Last year was the first time they ever visited our garden and they nested and raised a brood in our Berberis. I wonder if they will do the same this year.

Lucky you cowslip, they visit daily but I don't think they have nested in the garden.
Floydie, only put a few peanuts in your feeders at a time, you will need to keep changing them to keep them fresh. Your birds will find them eventually, sometimes it takes a while.

I enjoy seeing these pretty little birds - there are always several at a time.

I'm very envious Cowslip, you are so lucky to experience this. I love to hear (aswell as see) these little birds, their sound is so distinctive

Cowslip you are so honoured by them visiting you, such beautiful little birds and so happy too. We also get them but only fleetingly. I saw this watercolour for sale in a Church so now we see them all the time.
