Hi all. Not too new to gardening, but new to the garden I happen to be in. I have done a video of the way it is now and I talk through some of my plans. Any tips or suggestions would be gratefully received!

Hi paullypaul & welcome to the forum. You've got some lovely looking trees there & nice terraces to give structure, keep us all up to date with your progress. Love the screeching parrot/parakeet, we don't get them 'Up North'!

Hello Paul, welcome. Enjoyed watching the video and can see you've got a lot of work to do. Would be interested in seeing how your garden progresses from time to time. Can't wait to see how it develops.

Your 'no-go' corner reminds me of the end of our garden paullypaul , we have only been here since last June & are finding all sorts of bricks & rubble down there & have similar 'boggy' soil & clay. Good luck with your dahlias, the ones on your pics. from last year etc. look very pretty.

Thx Sue and Rosie. Raymond, the 2nd May sounds good and quite suicidal financially. I just can't stop buying what I see. I like "shiny things". Is that Dave Spencer who is on youtube with Dave Gillam? I feel a trip to Kent coming on...

On garden friends we have the other master showman Ian Sutherland twice national champ known as Ian on here. I will be there also as a novice , helping to run the sale hopefully will provide some plants myself for the sale . Prices very competitive and good sized rooted cuttings or plants.
