Funny, with all the cats we've had it has never been a problem. I think we have more of a problem with migrating wildebeeste.

my neighbour has 5 cats and I regularly thwek their parcels over the hedge back into her garden. Tried everything recommended and the thought of own cat or dog fills me with dread. love dogs but suitable for us.

Might try that Seaburn I hate coming across 'their' parcels in the borders, I can't garden without wearing gloves

Don't you believe it Grindle. Remember my story about Atticus discovering he wants to be a house cat. He now goes nose to nose in friendship with Sammy and he knew how to keep Brodie in order. Brodie never got over Killercat trying to take her babies as if they were mice or baby rabbits.

;D that's one smart cat I'm not telling him off for chasing them, I wouldn't want him to hurt them, but it's so nice not to be overrun with them

Our visitor comes at night when the dogs are tucked up at night damn thing, i wish i knew who it belongs to (IMO cats shouldn't be left to roam at night). Ive tried crystals (keep off) and even put penny-role around hoping that would keep it away but no . (An all nighter in the garden with a rat gun comes to mind ).
