Hey guys, My friend has given me an old pallet, I'm thinking of putting it in the garden with planters in it. Has anyone done anything similar and if it worked for them?? I've seen google pictures but just wanted a first hand opinion.

I've seen google pictures but just wanted a first hand opinion. It looks like a 'one delivery' pallet, so not made of thick boards. it will probably warp and rot with the weight of damp planters on it.
Sorry to be negative, but tannelated wood will give you better longevity.

Gnomeo, welcome to the site. May I ask, how good are you at DIY? I ask, because that could be turned into. A/ a nice planter or B/ a nice garden table top.

Rosie is right and I will be watching as I have pallets which end up in the hobo fire after a barbeque.

Hi gnomeo, I have edited your post as it had advertising in it, we don't really allow it on the forum. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the pallet though
