well after a 5 am start i drove the 90mile to darlington and bishop aucklandplant sales and i got soaked to the skin i forgot how cold and wet it can be up there met up with ian k and d c dahlia plus some top growers got some varitys i wanted some i couldnt get thanks to ian k for my vals candy and grenidore pastelle on the trip back i had the heaters on full blast i was so wet and cold lol will deffenitly go again

Good Evening Moonlight yes it was a good day pity about the weather, yes I think Bishop Auckland Society has got some very good dahlia growers with the likes of Phil Watson, Gordon Hodgson,DC dahlia aka Ian Davis and myself. We made about £600 for our society funds not bad .

Well done to you all with the plant sale, that was a good draw. How are the plants sold? are the plants a set price or are they auctioned?

Hi ian how are you this was a general plant sale dahlias,chrysanthemums,bedding plants, veg plants ect the dahlias and chrysanths are sold as individual plants also basket plants bedding plants are sold in packs of 6,9,or 12
