Just remember that your input will help others to garden in a way that encourages wildlife, a lot of people don't realise that gardening organically does NOT mean a garden full of weeds! Please don't worry, it might be a bit stressful it could also be fun. Good Luck dearie.

Please don't worry, it might be a bit stressful it could also be fun. Good Luck dearie. So true. In a book forworded by Chris Packham he goes to enormous lengths to say that a wildlife garden does not have to be unkempt and untidy - that wildlife will come to your garden in spite of the style you choose, and that it's more about the plant content in there. A lot of people believe you have to have untidy or scruffy gardens to attract wildlife and it's just not so.

I'm glad you've decided to go for it WF. I too am looking forward to seeing it. Who knows, you may do for wildlife what Charlie Dimmock did for make-overs I can understand your anxieties but the Beeb are brilliant at making you feel comfortable and I'm certain you'll thoroughly enjoy the day.

OMG I just had an email to say they will be coming to have a look around the garden this Friday I thought when Louise said they were advertising for gardens they would have picked one a lot closer than mine. If it is what they are looking for they will be filming around the 9-10-11 of April, that's not even two weeks away. I'm beyond panicking now

My goodness. You will fill up the 'what have you done in the garden' each evening and then collapse every night until the filming. They must understand that it is a work in progress.

There is not much I can do in a day and worrying is not going to make the slightest bit of difference so I'll mow the grass and see what happens. If they ask me to do anything to the garden before they film I expect it will be far less than I would do in a normal week. Springing it on me at the last minute suits me.
