I’ve had an interesting offer. I’ve been approached by the RSPB’s national press office, who have been approached by BBC Gardeners World. They are looking for a real garden that is managed in a way that helps wildlife in order to showcase what viewers can do.
Now I know you are a very busy, and I also know that for some people the thought of a TV crew strikes fear into their core. But I wondered if you would consider it?
I am awaiting confirmation of what exactly would be involved, but the usual procedure is they are in and out in a day, and a lot of the time just want to be left alone film around a garden. I would also expect to be there to take the pressure off you.
I realise this is a big ask – and of course say no if it is just something you wouldn’t want to consider - but at the same time you’ll probably guess how excited I am at the prospect of getting gardening for wildlife showcased on the Beeb!
