i keep very little equipment down the allotment prefering to bring everything home got up this morning to find my shed at home broken in to my rotorvator lawnmover and hundreds of pounds worth of tools gone rang police they may come and visit me tomorrow meanwhile the scrots that took my gear will be long gone insurance people rang asking if i could give a comprehensive list and price of whats missing some of my tools ive had since i was 20 year old oh and do you have any recieptsi managed to dig a photo of my rotorvator ive had it 10 years

it was reported this morning the police have said they might visit me tomorrow give me a crime number and more or less told me to get on with it
insurance arnt much better they want me to itemize everything that was stolen and try and find reciepts saying my tool collectection started when i was a youth its a bit difficult my tool box was 80 quid alone years ago that doesnt take into account the contents

robh I feel very sorry for you. I do hope the insurance company pays. They are supposed to give you peace of mind and support you.

thanks guy,s i realy dont hold much chance of getting it back but there are some scrot,s over the road ive a feeling they have or know who have done it as they are always up 2 no good that time inthe morning the stuff had to be carried oawy or loaded into a van the police dont realy seam intrested i havent heard from them they have give me a crime number for the insurance yet they are on my estate this morning chasein a bleeding horse,i have a photo of the rotorvator ive passed on to the insurance and put it on my local fb site

just to let you know the police came to see me this morning 3 days after the event a pcso called round yesterday afternoon she give me some tips and is giveing me some shed alarms for the greenhouse and shed a bit late i know spent the past2 nites in the backbedroom trying to see if the scrot,s have tried to move any of the gear they are aware that i know who they are as the police have said its the same set of names keep comeing up for everycrime that occurs in grimethorpe but a friend of a friend has let it be known that i will be paying a visit ive tried everything else put it on face book offereda reward etc
i know im insured which is just as well as the final tally comes in at over 2grand i would rather i had my own stuff back but if i have to have new im suprised at how much the value of the kit i had came 2 in present day prices i came in at just over a hundred quid fo2spades and 2 forks
