Could I plant my Azaleas in the ground ? They never do well in pots. The soil is neutral to slightly acidic and I want to plant them in a shady corner.

Don't see why not Hywel..If you fork in plenty of the appropriate compost in the planting hole and water with the ericaceous feed at the appropriate time.

Mine are the same @hywel, so I planted them all out, and they do better that way. Your soil sounds perfect for them.

Azaleas are woodland plants Hywel, so are happy in the soil and situation, you have for them.
