B&Q had bags of compost (20ltr) for £1 each today - excellent value, I snaffled nine (drive a mini!) and will troddle off back there tomorrow for some more ;D

saw this mentioned on FB AG page so we are off to B&Q tomorrow to see if any are left, it wasn't available when I went about 10days ago. Also says that bulbs are reduced.

20 litres is not very big actually. It just struck me that it is no cheaper than I would pay for a normal bag. I buy the 3 bags for £10 with a discount on this for members of the gardening club, so I do alright.

I get 4x75litre for £10 and it's organic, great for potting on and using on the garden

20 litres is a good size for me to carry when I'm alone- cos we have to park a fair way from the MQ Talking of which, Snowdrop is off to 'war' again at the end of the year Best I make him work hard this summer ;D

Not good Piskie one of my daughters friends has done 7 tours of afgan and is off again soon, the turn around time is so crazy now, because we are stretched so thin and they are making the forces smaller
