Quick reminder about the total lunar eclipse tomorrow night, well technically Monday wee small hours. Something for the insomniacs to have a look at if clear sky.

Lovely moon last night, and a few people I know from this area will be watching. If I am awake, I probably will. It is cold at night now.

I am usually awake most of the night. I bet I'll be sleeping when the eclipse is happening !

It was like daylight here last night with the whopping big moon shining through the blinds in the bedroom! I might catch the very end of the eclipse tomorrow morning if I wake up early enough but I doubt it!

I set the alarm to see it, but was a bit early as it wasn't fully eclipsed, then went back to sleep and missed it

Needless to say, I was awake and watched it for a while. Interesting.

I slept through it, there was another very big bright moon when I went to bed last night though, O.H. said 'have you switched all the lights off?' when I got in bed!

A proper 'harvest moon'. It was bright enough to take the dog out without a torch, and it is usually black here.
I saw the supermoon eclipse and went for a walk with the dog as well. I suppose it was rusty rather than red, but I saw it. The stars were very clear and bright too.

It was a beautiful full moon tonight and looked orange as were the streaky clouds around it. I know it had nothing to do with last night's show, but it was still beautiful.

Sleep was more important here. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz Well I went out in dressing gown after getting a cricked neck looking out upstairs window. Watched it all as it will be the last one I will see and I've seen a few over the years. as the moon became eclipsed you could see the milky way and the stars all became visible again, Even saw a bright meteor. i thought the moon became more of a coppery colour but then I am colour blind so what do I know? Got a bit chilly so came back in about 03.30.
