I get no ads on my tabletop computer. I downloaded a thing called Adblock. It was free. It doesn't work on my laptop though. I don't know why.
I've started to get ads that talk and sing to me now, on my laptop. They are very annoying

Sorry, SP - I simply don't know. I do know that I'm getting more and more advertising emails these days - I try to find the 'unsubscribe' on them. Someone must be selling my address on! Annoying to say the least.

Annoying to say the least. If you order online Geranium make sure you tick that you don't want your details passed on, reputable companies shouldn't sell on e mails if you do.

Annoying to say the least. If you order online Geranium make sure you tick that you don't want your details passed on, reputable companies shouldn't sell on e mails if you do. Sadly, this doesn't always work Rosie I signed up with Adobe when I purchased Photoshop. I ticked the "don't send me rubbish" type buttons. But I also did something else. It required an email address, so I deliberately created a new address ... "adobe@roofgarden.org.uk". I used this for the Adobe registration process, and ONLY the Adobe registration process. It was never used for any other purpose. Within 6 months, I was getting junk email targeted at that address, offering goods/products that had NOTHING to do with Adobe or graphics/drawing. The buggers had sold my address to general list merchants ! This is why I will NEVER use a Microsoft Account, as it requires divulging my mobile phone number. I just KNOW that if I give this to them, then within a year I'll start getting unsolicited sales calls from companies I've never heard of. Anyway... this doesn't help Sweetpea. Sorry dude; I don't know of any. I'm sure they exist though. Actually... most modern browsers have popup blockers built in. What browser are you using sweetpea ?
