I get good control of greenhouse whitefly in my veggie greenhouse by using Encarsia Formosa biological control.I buy it from Just Green in early Summer

I've stopped growing tomatoes etc in mine - OH wasn't too impressed, and it seemed an awful hassle for little appreciation. However, be that as it may, I used to grow some french marigolds around each plant, and that seemed to keep the nasty little critters away.

Me too, by accident! i had grown some marigolds and forgot to plant them out so they sat in the greenhouse and the toms were healthy and pest free all season. That was a couple of years ago at Kennethmont and i will do it again as soon as i have my polytunnel set up.

You're welcome. I loathe their scent, but I shall still grow a few for the greenhouses. Memo to self: put a clothes peg by the door for greenhouse work.

Works for some but not others.
