The Eryngium should be able to be planted right away, unless the ground is frosted. The convolvulus I would pot on and keep in a cool part of the greenhouse.....frost free anyway....until the weather warms up. I know it can be a bit tender up here.

My mature C. cneorum was damaged by the severe weather. I live in a mildish part of the UK, too!

Has it got any top growth? If so, then plant the roots up to the level where the growth starts.

That sounds about right....or plant to the level if where it was planted at the nursery
