Good to have you back on board again snute2008 ; hope you are at full strength soon xx I've just boxed up my tubers over the last few days....have lost a few...but that's par for the course. My GH is in full sun as well so I keep the fleece on them; after giving them a good soak to get them going....then do the same as Ian

Given them a good soaking so fingers crossed. The heat mat is working just not sure how wet to keep the capillary matting. Just keeping it damp now see what happens.
I managed to save one of my garden friends tubers so really hoping it shoots and I can get some cuttings.
I will let you know.

snute2008 got some in mushroom trays and some in individual pots and some in a garland titan tray. The mushroom trays dry out quite quickly I am finding. I am having to increase the water now. Lots of cuttings almost ready to take . Will start getting a bit more intensive now.

We now have a garden friends with a shoot in the house on windowsill above heater and a Marston lilac with 2 shoots in the cold greenhouse. Next week I might just set up the rest

I regretfully have to inform you that Roy Barlow died suddenly on Monday. Roy was a member of the Grey Mare dahlia society and a member of the National dahlia Society and many others. He competed at National level with his Dahlias & Sweet pea’s which he won many awards for. R I P Roy

hi to you all I am a new lad just had to say there is a lot of here on garden friends I grow dahlias my self I do show in devon but hope to show in the n d c this year

ian sad to hear this news may he rest in peace . Heard some sad news as well Ken Stock has had a bad stroke. Not doing very well I hear. That and frank taylor not great news.

Moonlight I spoke to frank the day before he went to the agm to confirm my order he said he had a stroke 3 weeks earlier and as Steve says another at the agm dinner. I hope he makes a full recovery .
