What is the earliest time they can be chitted ? I always leave it too late I think.

As soon as you get your spuds, set them up in cool light place to chit. Haven't got mine yet but when I do they will be going out in unheated g'house. Just as long as they are frost free they will be fine @hywel

Noticed last week they have them on sale in Wilko's already! I was in Wilkos the other day but must have missed them. Shoulda gone to specsavers Wonder what varieties they have as I only want spuds for home this year, not exhibition stuff. The one year I got Rocket they were awful as opposed to awesome so will not be getting them any time soon. Think I'll stick to Arran Pilot and Maris Bard.

I grew Rocket once. I can't really remember them but I don't think we were too keen on them, so I won't be growing them again.

I told you on my diary page that I had got some from Wilkos. They had a good selection of varieties

Will pop in to Wilkos soon to have a look. haven't got any ground ready for anything so far as it has been so wet. can always grow a few sets in growbags in the g'house though to give some nice early ones.

Noticed in Wilkos today they now do a pick and mix among boxes of loose potato sets, I think it was 1.50
