We went to Liverpool yesterday to catch the 'Weeping Window' display at St. George's Hall before it moves on. It's a small part of the poppy installation which was in London & is stunning in it's own right, I believe we're going to get it permanently here at Imperial War Museum North when it's finished touring.

My daughter-in-law took the children to see the poppies in London and she said it was one of the most awe inspiring displays she has ever seen, many of the folk there were in tears just looking at it realising every poppy was a life lost.

That's a beautiful memorial. Must be amazing when the sun is fully out.
My brother's family also went to see the Poppies at the tower, I think it was a very... reverent atmosphere. I wish I could have seen them too.
