Took a walk down the end of the garden today as for once it wasn't raining and saw some frogspawn in the wildlife pond. i think this is the earliest I have ever ssen this but as I don't keep records I could be wrong. Still early though.

They would have been ice cubes here if they'd been in our pond yesterday & today.

Went down to check what branches had come down in the latest windy night and as I got to the wildlife pond the water started churning with activity. There was a load of frogs in there and a LOAD more spawn as well. Wish tadpoles would eat duckweed as I got loads of that too. No doubt some of the cats will be after the frogs which is a shame.

it's the same here sweetpea the frogs are arriving daily now, one lost his way yesterday and ended up inside the back porch under the shoe rack, took 15mins to persuade it out and back in the garden
